Will the ZO6 mystique keep you OR??????
While we are all patiently waiting for the ACTUAL performance #'s for the C7,particularly w/Z51 I want to pose this question. As we all know GM's #'s for our Z's are 3.7 to 60 and tested to 100 in 8.0. So guys if the C7Z51 is with in a tenth or two of our Z's performance are you going to jump ship or will the ZO6/427 mystique keep you? Honestly I'm 60/40 in favor of the "Mystique".

I myself will wait out for C7 Z06(or whatever performance model they come up with).

For me it isn't as simple as 0-60 and 0-100. It's the overall feel and look of the car. I'm sure at some point the C7 in Z06 form, ZR-1 form or L-88 form will be faster than the C6 427 Z06. I do like the looks of the C7 from what I've seen. Once I drive one I can definitely make up my mind. I have always moved up a generation, at least with the newer cars, C4, 5 and 6. I really love the C6 Z06 and will have to love the new one more to make a change. Right now I will continue to enjoy this one

I'm not a big fan of the way the C7 looks at the moment so no.

Wow, boy I sure hope not! There is no way I would ever own a V6 Corvette...supercharged, turbo charged or otherwise...just would not happen!

I will buy a used C7"Z" in about 5-6 years...
Fall at the earliest to get a C7. Dealers at or above MSRP. Won't really see C7's on the streets until next summer -- yes, over a year from now (at least up north). And this will be the base model. I want a "raw" sports car and I don't think the C7 will be that... until the more powerful model.
Either way I will keep the C6Z forever and add a C7Z at some point.

Is there any good reason to jump ship from a C6Z to a C7 base? I don't think so. We know it's going to be slower, it's going to be heavier, it's going to handle worse, it's going to have a worse looking rear, it's going to have a smaller engine, and it's going to cost significantly more.
What does the C7 have going for it over a C6Z? A slightly better interior? That's about it. It's simply not enough to make an 'upgrade' at this point, which is in reality a 'downgrade' in most aspects of driving.

I'm leaning 60/40 in favor of my Z, I do like the C7 even with the rear nobody likes. A lot for me is gonna depend on how close the C7 is in performance to the C6Z. There is no way I am gonna be able to get a C7Z when they come out.. just not in the books money-wise so not even an option. I also will not buy a C7 for at least 2 years either because I want to see what GM does with the car in terms of improvements (I would not want to be like the guy he bought an 07 C6 base only to find out the LS3 comes out a year later) , so long term I may get in a C7.
If the\ C6Z is still a good bit ahead of the C7 Base, I may end up keeping her quite a while longer.

I don't even have a Z & still wouldn't think of trading 'up' from my '12 GS dry-sump...that money is instead going to headers, tune, 2pc rotors, Mich PSS's, etc...

Styling is subjective -- performance is absolute.
Love my C6Z06 -- to go from something I love 100% of to something slower and which only looks 75% as good... PASS
if it was really that much of an issue -- instead of losing a ton on trade in or the hassle of selling, and then paying over MSRP - why not just spend 5K on some really nice interior mods, a new nav, and throw some performance mods on and you will be much better in the end. Oh yes -- a new set of worked heads too (just to be safe) hah
try as i might -- i can't get over that awful rear end.
