Under the indoor lights of the intro, I didn't have a problem with the rear of the car.
But in outdoor light, it will indeed take a while to get used to.
I do get a kick out of those awaiting the next Z06 though.
Based on what GM has done with this one, this valve mess, blown engines for years, and then their early September statement, followed by this last utter insult, a few days ago in the form of a TSB, essentially stating that the engine problems in these cars is an internet fabrication, I'm about as apathetic as I can get when it comes to the C7 Z06. I honestly could not care any less.

Sad state of affairs that GM is doing this.

I actually posted if Aztek folks were in charge of the new C7 design. That thread got shut down, but then it turns out that yes, there were Aztek designers on the C7 design team (as well as C6). But I think on the C7 they were given more free reign.

I was the one that saw the C7 in Tempe yesterday. When I told the engineer driving it I had an 09 Z06 he told me that I would be more interested in the car Jim mero was testing in Yuma. He said it was what is going to be the next Z06 model. When I asked about the engine he wouldn't confirm anything.

It will be tough road to hoe, making a new zo6 significantly better performer than c6 version. If they do? - I will want one!
Pre-emptive request: skip the "LS-7 sucks" reply posts.
Thanks

What, the 2014/2015 C7 Z06 gonna come with a whopping 25 more HP than your 09Z? Hahahaha.
GM needs to step up their game and quit trying to cater to the pimpled face crowd. Get the damn Z06 in the 600 HP region. Anything uner 550 is somewhat a joke and not much difference than a C6Z with bolt-ons. After 9 years of trial and error with the C6, its about time they bring their A Game.

But the car just lacks style .
Its not a great design at all .They had plenty of time and plenty of resources to work with and this is what we get ..
I also don't like cylinder deactivation. I want the car to run on all 8 cylinders all of the time.
