Congrats on your fine Z06 purchase. You will certainly enjoy it and the fastest color as well.

Don't forget about the HUGE corvette show in Sunrise FL on Jan 13th.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Z06. Will be interesting to hear your comparison's of the c4 Zr-1 and your new c6Z.

I had a 1991 Zr-1. here is what I have found.

While the c4z was no slouch, it seemed anemic to the ls7.

C6Z seems a little twitcher - think that has to do with the lighter weight and much more power, probably also the good year run flats are a contributing factor.

liked the seats in the c4z much better.

miss the removable roof that the c4z had.

A/C - Heat far superior in the c6.

C4 rattled and creaked - C6Z tight no rattles.

c4 clam shell hood and lt5 a work of art. -- ls7 doesn't look much different than a LS based v8 that goes in a chevy avalanche P/U truck.

I liked the looks of the C4Zr1 - wide body. Like the looks of the c6Z much better.

Original tires on the C4Zr1 were goodyear gatorbacks. Those tires were great in all weather, even got caught in the snow and it was actually pretty good - they wore like iron. replaced with good year GSC - those were ok. Wish I could get the goodyear gatorbacks / same rubber compound and tread design in sizes for my c6 Z06.- hate the run flat good year f1's.

Congrats on your nice low mileage Z Looks like mine. Too bad you didn't keep the 93 Anniversary Z. Those were the best of the 6 year run IMO.
