I went one step further and ordered the black covers from them and then had my buddy air-brush them for me.

Sorry for the cellphone shot.

Has anyone had the center logo nameplate engraved to say anything other than Katech? Like maybe Corvette etc.?

Wires $55

Reuse the stock coils. They do the job just fine. It's a fairly easy job to do, it just takes some time to make it look nice and clean. Take your time neatly tucking in your coil wires and you'll have a nice end result.
So these just come with a standard non powder coated finish Jason?

I am sick and tired of looking at the plastic covers at this point Thanks.
I did what your talking about to my 07. Katech makes good stuff. Unless they have changed design of valve covers you'll have to grind the alternator bracket a little for clearance. Not hard to do I just was not expecting this!

Yes. Valve covers come out of the box with a sand casting finish. Powdercoating is recommended.

You just can't beet the Katech solution in MY opinion. Their valve covers and coil relocation kit make it a pretty easy swap. The only other alternative I've seen are the Valve covers but combined with custom coil relocation kits that were anchored on the firewall and completely out of site. Either way it's quite an improvement (in my opinion) to the regular FRC's the car comes with. Some guys out there LOVE those FRC's
