Default Video of My 1/4 Mile Pass

Here is a video of my run at San Antonio Raceway from 12-12-12. This is my second Z06 and I am rather impressed by the trap speed I was able to achieve in it. If only I could launch better and get a 1.9 or perhaps a 1.8 on these stock tires, the times and trap could be better. Practice makes perfect, will try to improve the launching my next time my next time out.

What kind of camera and where and how do you have it mounted?

Thanks

The camera is a Go Pro Motorsports HD and I mounted it on my helmet using the provided mounts.

Nice job. A 2.0 60' is not easily eclipsed on street tires. It takes practice, finesse and good track prep. What rear PSI were you running?
I'd say try to launch a little smoother by getting on the gas a little slower and try coming off the clutch a tad slower.
You shifted 1-2 a little early as well. Looked to be around 6500. The shifting was very good though! Good MPH as well!

Thanks for the advice Ron!

I was on 20 PSI in the rear and 45 in the front.

I got a 1.68 60' with 24-25psi. Keep practicing!! A 1.8x is REAL good on street tires.
Good luck!
