2012 Z06 makes 567 rwhp cam only-Lethal Performance
We had a customer bring in this 2012 Z06 for a cam and some light head-work. We put in a custom LP spec camshaft, outfitted the heads with new valves and guides (done in house), ARH 1 7/8 longtube headers, Hurricane CAI, and an off-road X pipe. The care laid down 567rwhp!

Marco isnt trying to pull a fast one or anything of the sort. Valves came in Monday evening and we installed them. I dont remember if they milled or not. Im sure he will chime in. No port work etc. When we do customers cars we recommend upgrading the valves to avoid catastrophic failures. Ill text Marco to jump in here to fill in the gaps I dont know about.

the cam went in for extra power, why not work the heads while they are off

As in milling or taking preventative measures to avoid failure? We did replace the exhaust valves and the guides but that was it. Anytime we do an LS7 cam we STRONGLY encourage our customers to replace the guides and exhaust valves which we do in-house.

The main reason I took my car to lethal was to prevent dropping valves. So I paid for the necessary preventions. And for kicks i said what the hell put a cam while your at it. I pray to god they did what they told me they were going to do. So I totally agree with you about being foolish not doing some head work vs. just doing a cam only.
