Default Akrapovic

Hi all,
I got 1 7/8 AR Headers. Will Akrapovic Ti exhaust fit easily? Thanks

I have that set up on my car. I didn't install it but had a shop do it...and I didn't hear any complaints from them.

So I am saying yes...no issues.

what made you go with them? I considered them for my ZR. Sure seems like a nice system, but lots of $$$$$$

For that amount of money, might as well do heads / cam if you haven't already.

B&B fusion are less fancy but as good as akra. I thought B&B fusion sounded better than the akra IMO. the fusion sound deeper and a bit less loud specially in closed mode. HALF PRICE... with black tips your good to go

Thats the setup I had. No problems matching the two together. I did have to clearance one of the header tubes around the steering shaft slightly. 1 7/8 tube.

I think you'll only need the catback and it should fit ok. I don't think their X-Pipe included in their 'Evo system' will bolt onto the LG headers.

Sound is subjective, but the Fusion's are NOT half the price of comparable Akra's!

And by comparable, that would be the SS versions. So the real price delta is more like $200. Which when it comes to this pricepoint is not really a factor....

Fusions are considerably less than Akras. Fusions roughly are about 15-$1600

Akra SS-$2300 TI-$3400
" Evo SS-$2850 TI-$4150

I just got almost new akra evo Ti for $2800. Thought it was a steal. My stock is modified and sounds really good and if I don't like the evo, I can always sell it

Yes, this will work fine (assuming you have the AR X pipe also). You just want to get the Akra Slip On (Axle Back system) not the Full Evo...

Thanks,

Jim
