Default WTB: Any ZR1 brakes for sale?

Looking to install some ZR1 brakes on to my Z06 (I think this is possible?) Any one have any for sale? Probably a long shot, just figured I would try here first.

Shoot me a PM...

Thank you

your best bet would be to look for a wrecked ZR1...there's almost 0 alternative to our brakes in the aftermarket, and not so sure why anyone would try anything else. Even iron rotors will run a cool 2800 bucks for a set of 4, so it's not something everyone is jumping at the bit to go change, considering most tracking the ZR1 find the CCBs to work out pretty good far as longevity and overhaul track performance....
I think if you have it price out by a forum parts vendor you can save a few bucks from over the counter price...still gonna be in the 7k for a kit...

I understand it isn't easy to do. Check with Jason at Katech. If I remember correctly they did this to his track attack z06. There may have been issues with traction control or something like that. You will love the breaks if you are able to upgrade them to CC disks.

Thanks for the info.

I honestly didn't realize that they are sooooo expensive. If they do cost $7k I will pass. I just like the look of larger calipers and brake discs. I have built a really nice car in my opinion and probably won't race it too much....so no reall need. Just wanted it for looks I guess.
