Default My Katech Experience (long sorry) but GOOD!

I just wanted to let everyone here know about the absolutely perfect experience I had with Katech engineering and my ZR1. Right from the beginning where I was only inquiring and asking lots of questions, Jason Harding very patiently and professionally answered all of my questions (and there were alot of them). The amount of attention and attention to detail was just very refreshing in these times where most places just don't have decent service at all anymore. Jason was very good about making sure I was picked up and dropped off at the airport when it came time to drop off and pick up the car.
When I picked up my stage 4 Zr1 last Thursday where was a little glitch with whenever I punched it at lower rpms in 5th and 6th gears. Jason and hi team took it out and re-ccreated the problem with the data logger on and re-tuned it real quick and it was PERFECT. I drove the car 5 1/2 hours home to NY and experienced no issues whatsoever. I knew the car was going to be faster but I had no idea it was going to be like this. I was doing 60mph in fourth gear and nailed it and the tires actually break loose it has so much power. I am going to need alot of money for tires and that my friends is the only drawback to this.
I would like to thank Katech anf Jason for the wonderful experience and the highest level of customer service I have experienced in years. If you are going to upgrade your ZR1 or any other vette....or any vehicle really....you should really consider going the extra mile and bringing your car to Katech!!!!

Thanks so much guys

How much power did it make?

What exactly is in a "Stage 4" package?

Congrats! As I was telling Morris on the Z06 thread there is a reason that everyone that has ever worked with Katech raves about them, they go above and beyond and are simply one of the best companies out there to work with!

bobafett, the norm with Katech for street cars is a 12month/12k mile warranty on any engine builds that they instal in house. They are one of the few companies that I know of that puts it in writing that they stand behind their work!

Congrats Jim, What a great experience and great power! Do you still have the stock radiator and will it cool all those extra horses? How about a picture of the plaque. Are there any other visual signs to hint at the Katech mods?

I'm out of town all week for work but this weekend I will definitely take lots of pics and post 'em. I'm not sure about the stock radiator but they way they engineer everything they do I'm sure if it needed something more they would have done it. I drove it 5 1/2 hours with no issues.

Jim

DITTO!!!!! #56 HERE and very proud of it. I have never felt better after spending $ than after seeing my Z at track attack in july! From the president of the company, all the techs, and Jason Harding whose passion for these cars that is unmatched. As my buddy werks #50() states, the customer servics is second to none!! And then there is Track Attack, that is without a doubt, the most fun a man can have with his clothes on Congrats on your beautiful corvette!
