If you want loud blower whine, add a smaller pulley to spin it faster. It'll scream then.
Smaller pulley will do!

But do i need to get the ECU retuned if i add the pulley?

Thanks in advance!
Its the ceramic rotors. Many on the forum with the warble problem, have swapped wheels or road forced balanced the wheels to compensate for the problems, and seems the only real fix is rotor replacement.

One guy that even had a z06 and zr1 that had the vibration, put the zr1 wheels on his z06, and the z06 didn't vibrate - further narrowing down to a rotor problem.

I would thoroughly test drive the car. - seems most zr1's had the vibration problem experienced it between 65 and 85 mph.

I have a '10 with no vibration issues.

Along with the other odds and ends, make sure you get the blue foam brake rotor protectors.

I've had mine for several months and have zero vibration issues. In fact it has been flawless since I drove it out of the dealers showroom!

Nice, mine is also a 10'. +1. I'll have to ask the dealer if they still have them. If they don't, do you know where I can buy them?

I guess officially from a Chevy dealer, but you can probably make your own out of those foam pipe insulators. Just make sure you don't nick exposed rotors, e.g. when removing / replacing wheels, brake jobs, etc.

I think it would be nice to have the blue GM ones. Ask the seller.

Yes, you will need a tune if you change the pulley size, etc. Pretty much anything more than an air filter or cat-back exhaust, you'll need a tune.

You know your GT-R can file your taxes for you and you're trading it?!

Yea, I did. It's on a truck somewhere in the US.

2010 Red. I will clear bra the full front and side of the car when It arrives. I don't think the car needs more power. I'll do some basic weight reduction (wheels+battery+seats). I'll also get a nice suede covered steering wheel from Caravaggio.

Not a big fan of drag race. If I was, I would just keep the GT-R and put 1000 hp in it.
