I pulled the fuse, expecting a deeper sound. I heard a small difference but I am not experiencing what all the comments are getting. I double checked the fuse and I have pulled the right one. Any suggestions?

I bought mild to wild and loved it, but after I few instances of weak crank or dead battery, I drew the conclusion (rightly or wrongly) that it was causing a mild drain.
At the time I was only driving the car every three or our days.
I changed the battery and pulled the fuse at the same time and the no start problem went away so I can't say the issue was M2W related.
Drone doesn't bother me too much

Second 383vett's comments - a couple bucks for an add-a-fuse and a radio shack switch. I mounted the switch where the ash tray was (pulled it out, as I don't use it). Now it's controllable, doesn't drain the battery, and cost me less than $10. OK, maybe $20 if you count my time installing...
