30,000 trip miles in my 07 Z06
Actually it's six 5,000 trips, all to Detroit for a Corvette club show, a tour of the GM Heritage Museum, Corvettes on Woodward (about 500 this year), Wixom's Open House, 2 Detroit Tigers games, the Woodward Dream Cruise, a bucket list thing for sure. and a tour of Katech Engineering.
Eastbound stops were in Albuquerque, Miami. OK, and Indianapolis, westbound was only 3 days with stops in Joplin, MO and Albuquerque. 12 hour days are no sweat with its power, comfort, 25mpg and my Valentine 1.
Someday a lucky person will be getting a problem free vette at a great price due to these trip miles and 35,000 CA miles killing its resale value, but I'm a driving junkie and can't wait to drive it all the time, especially on this annual trip.

I drove NH to AZ in my 09Z in 2 1/2 days and also found the stock Z06 seats comfortable for that long trip. Another 10 hour trip to CA was also fine.

I have to drive my cars, I enjoy it too much. When I see guys who never drive their cars, I always wonder if its the depreciation they fear, or maybe they really just don't enjoy driving like some of us. Maybe its more like art for them? To each their own, but these cars are too freaking fun not to drive as much as time allows. Kudos to you for pegging the fun meter in life.

Nice pics. I agree that these cars are for driving. To each his own, but I don't understand people that buy these cars, drive them 2000 miles/year or whatever, wax them 100 times, and watch them depreciate tens of thousands before their eyes. The fun is in driving these beasts.

Another question that hasn't been asked is how do you deal with the drone of your 5 year old pre-Fusion B & B Bullets? As I've posted before, it took my ears just 2 days to get used to it and at a few months from 70 I don't even have to turn the volume up halfway to hear XM radio's music. Again luckily, we're all different.

Back in June, we took a 4800 mile road trip out to Bowling Green, KY and Graceland (Memphis). The Z06 was fantastic and performed well throughout the entire trip. I bought the car to drive it, push it and enjoy it.
