It's been a wonderful ride; however, today I bid farewell to my beloved Z. I will miss it dearly. It had my own personal touch which made it unique. It had to be sold though. Both me and my wife are unemployed and need the cash for the obvious life necessities and to keep our daughter in school.
I was selfish wanting to keep my Z until I had a moment of clarity and got my priorities straight. I'll be on the forums for a little longer while trying to sell some stock stuff left behind from the mods I made. I hope to be back another day with another Z. Time will tell.
Goodbye my friend.

Man that sucks, but at least your doing it for the right reasons. Good luck with your employment ventures and hopefully soon you can get back in a Z. Good luck

I have been lucky enough to have been able to keep mine for four years so far. Hope things take a turn for the best for you and your family soon. When they do, you can always buy another. Marc L.

Just a thought. What do you dofor a living? Maybe we can network with members to help you find a job? What profession are you in? Maybe your Corvette brothers can help?

When I was unemployed in 2009, I relied solely on my side work for income. I might have a 9-5 job now but when I'm not working, I'm still engaging in side business to make extra cash because you never know what the future holds. Good luck, and stay positive. There's work out there for you and you're going to find it.

Good luck. You're young and have plenty of time to bounce back.

I'm in the insurance industry and know insurance companies nationwide. Please let us know what your profession is and maybe someone can open a door for you?

Don't leave and still be a forum member. life has challenges and you made the right choice. If you were in Arizona i have a large recourse in the Highway Construction Industry.

Best of luck to you and your family. As much as it sucks to let it go, it's just a car, and there will be others when times are better. I think we've all looked at them at least once, and thought about where the money could be better spent, regardless of our financial situation.
