This should stir up some strong opinions.

I had a feeling the opinions would be strong on this one.

We're pretty much split down the middle here in the shop as to who likes it, and who doesn't.

Funny thing is we put the same pics up on our FB site, and so far all the comments have been positive. HRE has put the pics up on thier FB site and so far it's all been positive too.

Everyone likes what they like. No harm no foul.

The owner of the car chose the color, he knew he was going out on a limb. I e-mailed him pictures so we'll see what he thinks. The Nice part about HRE is, if he really doesn't like them, we can send them back and get them re-finished.

A blue more like a 30th anniversary Trans Am or closer to the caliper color on the ZR1 would look much better IMO.

BTW, I like his plate VIPRETR, I have an Alberta plate for my Camaro as well - SNK ETR which I think I may transfer to my 63 Mongoose Grand Sport...or maybe try for CBRA KLR now that we have 8 spots on our license plates.

Not bad! Clear side markers and white headlights might make the blue wheels work a bit better.

They might look killer on silver.

I'm 33 and still don't like it. The blue doesnt quit match the calipers thats why, too many shades of blue to close together. If it were a darker ZR1 blue or a complete off color it would look better IMO. For the record I had red wheels on a old M3 and like the members black vette with green wheels.

i don't mind the color so much, but it's overall too much for me. I'd rather see some offset color for the rim or the spokes, with the blue as the accent.

Perhaps a cup style wheel in black with a blue pin stripe instead of red?

All I can say is WOW. I wouldn't be caught dead driving around with the combo, but it's his/her money. Hopefully he/she is happy with the outcome and ready for some serious feedback on the road.
