There was nothing wrong with the clutch, just thought I'd do some PM's thinking that it would have to be bad after beeting on it for a 100k. Actually could have got another 50 plus K out of it. Yeah Ranger method, clutch dust the scourge of our time, Not.

I was actually half joking. Do you still have your old clutch?

Didn't affect my cars performance. There are flywheel clearance issues in earlier models and some slave cylinder issues but not fluid. You can do anything you like but why would I try and fix something that for me isn't broken. I think one might want to study some hydraulics in sealed systems before I start replacing that fluid twice a day. One theory is that it's the clutch dust that's causing the color change. When they took mine apart you could put all the clutch dust in a table spoon. Also I tried to see if the dust was Soluble, nope.

2008, 22k miles. No issues here... IIRC, the "body control module" was replaced on warrantee at around 15k or so. The SES came on and I took it in. They said the input for the clutch sensor was broken. Other than the SES light, I wouldnt have noticed anything.

Mods: Halltech MF103, B&B PRT, and DR Revalved Bilsteins

Still love this car after 5 years. I've driven an SL63, GT3 RS, CTS-V, 08- Viper, etc. etc... and after 15 minutes I just want my Z back

Things I dont like: The 08 Interior leaves something to be desired, as does the rapid destruction of expensive tires.

Fun and fast as heck!

Looks and is bad azz!

Best bang for the buck supercar that one can buy BY FAR!

Has a magical 427 cubic inch legendary engine making over 500 HP from the factory!

Runs like a Champ with no issues.

All this, and has another 3 years of bumper to bumper GMPP Warranty.

Same results so far with my 2009 (Original Owner), 5K on the clock.

Halltech CAI, Akrapovich full exhaust, carbon rotors and ceramic pads.

Enough of the hostility.

Personal attacks/hostility toward others

The Forum should be a place where we treat one another with civility so that it remains a fun and friendly place to hang around with other Corvette enthusiasts. Hostility to others is rude and inappropriate.

Hey Jimmy, long time no talk! Ive been busy man. I hope you are well. It's good to be back!

Cool thread

2008, 16500 miles, ecs blown and tuned for last year, alky, 655rwhp/645rwtq.....SAVAGE car!

Not a problem at all except that i need some decent tires to handle power. Folks pm me, need some opinions on 345 tires. Stock wheels, money not an option, no need for run flats.

2nd owner, only thing i have ever fixed was that i left the car sitting too long and literally put a new battery in today. I have been busy and didn't leave the tender on. Bone head lol

If these cars are done right they freaking love a little boost! i still still bit off more than I can chew
