Actually, no I didn't note whom he was replying to since no quote was used...just went back and looked.....I was wrong and appologize accordingly..........

Bleed the system then put new clutch fluid inside it should be fine.Weird though that at 1300 miles such a thing would happen .

I had to have my C6 towed to the dealer where they quickly identified the problem as a clutch master cylinder failure. They ordered the replacement part(s) and performed the
needed repairs. Since I had purchased an extended warranty when I bought the car, the cost to me was about $115 as opposed to approximately $700 which was the total cost of the repair. As I indicated in my original post, this problem also occurred on my 2005 C6, and because the car was in gear, I lost control and caused more than $10000 damage to my car and to the one with which I collided.

mine failed at around 3k miles/six or seven months in use at the time.
