Default How much track time does your ZR1 see?

I was curious how many people actually take their ZR1s to the track?

Which best describes you:

1. My Corvette ZR1 will never be used on the track

2. I want to use my Corvette ZR1 on the track some day

3. I have used my Corvette ZR1 on the track

4. I regularly use my Corvette ZR1 on the track

5. I bought my Corvette ZR1 primarily for track use

After you vote in the poll, please post an explanation of your pick.

Thanks!

Dave

That's me, right there. Once or twice a month during the non-snowy seasons, I'll be found tearing up Summit Point Raceway in my ZR1.

I do 8-10 track days a year with my car. I would do more, but my schedule only allows that many track days.

I bought my car to enjoy on the street, but unfortunately I don't even have much time for that these days. My wife and I have a one year old boy at home right now so I dedicate most of my non-working time to the family.

I hope to be able to enjoy more street time with my boy when I can put him in a front facing car seat (about a year from now). I would also like to take my car to the track at Homestead from time to time since I'm so close...

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it...

I don't even know where a track is, I don't think there are any within 600 miles

My ZR1 had the "baptism by fire" and spent the first year of it's life as a driving school car.

It's now in my hands, which effectively means retired....garage queen and fair weather cruiser. Will probably spend more hours being washed and waxed than actually driven.

Properly seated the rings on mine at the Texas Mile.

It hasn't seen as much road course work my Z did, but anymore I'm grateful to play when I can given work schedules and family schedules.

It's my only car, so 3-4 track days a month, about 1500 miles a month highway to attend these events and a Costco run every Tuesday evening.

I did a fair amount of HPDE in the mid-1990s, with an older Porsche 928S. Hope to get my ZR1 out on the track one day...

I've had the Grand Sport there but need to be more proficient driving/shifting before I would attempt taking the ZR
