Default Road trip in the Z any advise?

I am getting ready to drive 2400 miles on a road trip in my H/C Z06. Anyone got any advise? I have just changed oil, bought a new set of Nitto Invos, fixed my cruise control and purchased a radar detector.
I missing anything?

AAA card just in case. remember no one will have anything close to the rear tire size in stock if it were to pop. other then that, gas card and camera!

Take advantage of cruise control or your leg will get cramped up lol. When I first picked mine up I drove over 300 miles and I couldn't find cruise control so needless to say I could barely feel my toes at one point and my leg kept falling asleep.

Last summer I went on a 5-week 10,360 mile trip. You might want to throw in a case of water.

Have a great trip...

I did 2400 miles in a week in my car, no issues. Enjoy it and take a lot of pictures.

A flat repair kit and the ability to savor the experience of driving long distance in a superb long distance car. Almost 3 years ago I drove 3000 miles with my son to Yellowstone, down through Colorado (did Pikes Peak), and then westbound back home to CA in 10 days. The car was awesome all the way, and what a joy to drive. My son tells me that it pulled a steady 24 MPG at 101 MPH through the Nevada desert. However, I'm pretty sure that never really happened because I have no recollection of it at all. Have fun and stay safe.

Cruise control is a must! Also, does anyone think this would work?

On long drives in my Vettes, I use foam ear plugs to cut back on the noise (just as I do on long plane trips). Love the sound of my car, but for more than a couple of hours I find it less tiring wear some ear protection.

Enjoy your trip.

Drove mine 2,300 miles home after I bought it. Second the suggestions above (other than cruise control - I don't use it and didn't have any leg/foot sleep problems). I did, however find that I needed a rolled up t-shirt as lumbar support starting on the second day. Other than that, a good pair of sunglasses and an iPod full of your favorites!

I put on nose/side mirror covers and drove it 1500 miles. Used cruise when I wanted. I also have the Nitto Invos. I carried a flat repair kit and a electric pump. Haven't used it yet. You will love the tires. Also the wife and I loved the seats, no issues at all. It's an '07 Z.

If I was driving at that distance, I would also be concerned about the front nose and hood getting hit by flying debris, bugs, road asphalt etc.
Try not to travel to close to 18 wheelers or other vehicles, a soft chamois and water at rest stop to clean off debris.
I traveled through Montana, Wyoming during summer time in my truck, bugs were all over my windshield and front end of truck.
Have fun and enjoy your ride.

Spray detailer, microfibers, wash kit and a good glass cleaner/microfiber.

When I drive over 25-30 miles, I remove my wallet from my hip pocket and place it in the passenger seat. My butt then fits the seat way better.

I'll second jerseydrew's AAA tip and add upgrading to their Premier card which'll give you one 200 mile tow, 2 100 mile tows, etc. Base membership doesn't include flatbed tows, which Premiere does.

I always take a alcohol water mix in a spray bottle and roll of paper towels – ever time you gas up you can clean your windshield (the right way)… way better than using the squeegee and nasty water at the gas station.

Only other thing is good tunes to crank!
