Is that similar to the Initial D drift car? I think we would smoke it in a straight line, but on a road course we wouldn't stand a chance against a pure lightweight drifter's car.

with its 5 speed manual gear box, 97.6 cubic inch displacement, 85 horse, 90 ft lbs of torque, a drag coefficient of 0.38, and a 0-60mph time of 11.8 seconds, the corvette is a likely contender.

The fastest "click" I've had here for a while!
Good one for sure, but "Turbosixx" does raise an interesting point:

Oh it is true. Haven't you read any info on the '84 Escort??? It's no slouch. The Z is a car that deserves legendary status but simply will not pass the Escort traveling at 70 mph if the Z is going 60 mph.
I love my Z, it's my dream car and I finally got it a couple of months ago and now I'm contemplating selling it, lol.

I know a guy that has a pretty hot Escort and it is a lot faster than you think. There is no proof anywhere that the Corvette can spank the Ford. If there is, it would be all over the 'tube.
