CTS-V was a option but I need something that will not make fartpipe look that slow when I race him with my DD.
No. I hate red two tone interior
What's funny how you had to tell us 3 times that it is ugly. No need. We know that it is ugly.
What I don't get is why you sold it. You said it is too good of a car and ugly. You knew it was ugly when you bought it. So you sold it because it was too good? OK, now come clean!

What rock have you be hiding under.

Only 3 times? So I guess its like this, its ugly (there is 4) but its awesome to drive year round. But it won't scare or excite you, so once you get over how awesome of a car it is, your left with (ugly (5th) and unexciting).
But he ASKED about a Daily Driver, you CANT beat this car as a daily driver. You won't stand out, it has a good trunk, plenty of capacity, great in the rain, snow and sun. But if you are a RWD, tail happy, stick shifting car driver, like I am, your going to get bored on how great the car is. I'm sorry if I am not explaining it well, but the car is damn good at everything, and it has never scared me. The ZR1 seems like its going to break loose every time I hit the gas, and the viper definitely did (mine was 730 rwhp), it was exciting seat of your pants.. I like that, the GTR won't give you that, it will give you an awesome car thats extremely drivable, but ugly (6th? 7th time?) and so once you get over that its a great car, your like hmmm... but it doesn't excite me, in looks or in tire shredding, gear shifting, white knuckle fun.... and then you sell it like I did.
I was without it for a few months and then I thought, hmmm.. should I get a 2013 or a Zr1... you can see which one I ended up getting.

It's been a remarkable dd.

I like GTR's. I don't think they are ugly and there is no denying their incredible handling and power, especially after some light mods and tuning.
The only thing that matters is that you like it. If it makes you happy, WGAF what other people think?

I really thought you were BSing about buying a GT-R but apparently you're not...oops
I do have a lot of respect for them and they are a very capable car.
Enjoy your new ride...

I wouldnt call it my DD, I have an FX50 for that. But I'll be driving the ZR1 almost every day, except maybe rain (not cuz I give a **** if the car gets wet, but its no fun when you cant romp it). Plus I have a deposit down on the 2013 Viper, so I'll swap between driving all 3 come december (when Viper is supposed to arrive). I hear its going to be great in the snow.. lol.. kidding..
Yeah, I think thats it. I bought the car new, never drove it before purchase because I thought WTF, why not, lets see what all the hype is about. And it was great for 6 months (after modding) and then it just kept being less and less inspiring to drive. I tried to give it to my wife, but she didnt want it, so I sold it. But I stand by it being the best Daily driver I ever had.

Hey bud, Congrats on the new ride.
I'm going with the CTS-V soon. Williamson was supposed to get in a Coupe "White Diamond" w/black graphite wheels in but haven't had a call yet. Looks like I'll be special ordering one for the wife soon.

That's what I'm talkin about. I would consider one if it wasn't for my daily commute. A "V" would cost me about $800 a month for gas...just can't do it.
