Tire questions.
I want to put Michelin pilot SS tires on . I would like to go with the 345-30-19 on the rear but run the stock 275-35-18 on the front. Any problems with this combo. .Sorry , I'm sure this was talked about before.

When considering non-stock tire sizes, read your owner's manual about keeping the sizes within the acceptable ratios for purposes of "active handling" and "traction control." I am running Michelin PS2 345-30-19 on the rear and 275-35-18 on the front, and they fall within the acceptable limits. You should check the diameters and other measurements of the SS's before you buy.

stick with stock tire sizes... if you want factory warranty
I suggest sticking with stock sizes... IF you've ever had an Active Handling ERROR message or want to have GM fix these errors on their nickel. GM has Chevy dealers on the warpath not to honor their factory warranties for ANY plausible reason, including installing non-factory spec tire sizes.
That being said, I just installed factory spec Michelin PS2 ZPs on my Z06 and wish I had gone with the wider sizes... but I've had recurring Active Handling ERROR messages and since my Z06 is still under GMPP extended warranty I stuck with this size to make them fix it if it happens once again (just did again yesterday... Arrrrrrgggggghhhhh).
Once its out of warranty I'll definitely put on bigger tires even though my current Michelins are MUCH quieter and a little sticker than the "old style" stock RunCrap Goodyear F1 which HOWLED over every piece of concrete... and were noisier on asphalt as well. No I'm not looking for Lexus numbed quite cabin... In fact I drive without the radio on since the LS7 sounds so sweet, especially with the bypass exhaust open. Just no reason to listen to the now-extinct old GY FunCraps HOWLING all the time. 8-)

Several forum members have put on the PSS in 285/35-18 and 345/30-19 and not reported codes. I have the stock sizes 275/325 PSS with no codes. The PSS specs on diameter should be about the same as the PS2's and many have reported 275/345 PS2's work with no codes.
I'd suggest either 275/325 or 285/345. There should be no clearance problems with the 285 PSS fronts.
