Are VCG the same for all LS engines or does the LS7 use a specific gasket?

Manual says VCG should not be reused, went to my local dealer and they really tack on the vette tax up here in Canada. List for one gasket is $47. Looked them up in the states and it shows around $20.00 each.

Thinking of reusing mine, if it leaks I'll buy new ones, gives me an excuse to check those rocker bolts if I have to open the covers again.

I've reused mine, no leaks.

I re-used mine as well. No leaks. Once you take the gaskets out of the valve cover they are tough to get back in though. I left them in place when removing the VC's

You should be just fine using the old ones.

They should be all the same for all LSx cars. On other LSx cars Ive reused them more than a few times without problems.
