Just to compare .... This particular bolt-on car run this in is second passes this year with is new combo, and the most important in a + 1200 DA Not in a -1400 DA. This particular car also have certainly less rwhp... and stock clutch pedal spring. Good luck for the 10.124 run. Maybe with a 150 mp/h tail wind and a -3500 DA with a sticky track you could do it ...who knows...
or who care about it ...

Anyway just food for though ...

Seb

P.S. When you get you're 9.99x E.T, I will install my 150 hp nitrous kit and run a 9.5x with a descent - DA and call it a day. Like that (power adders car vs power adders car)I will continue to be better than fartpipe and his most true nightmare !!!

If Fartpipe can nick a .10 off his 60' he may be limboing the 9.99-10.0 line

7500? 2.29:1?

LOL you are killing me here

My understanding has always been that .10 on the 60' usually equates to .20 on the ET

Thank you for you're support, but normally 0.10 better 60' drop e.t 0.15 all things being equal. But like we could see the ZR1 have a 2.29:1 gear ratio for the first gear, so problbly de 60-330' also suffer from that.

If Bruce Sunshine would accept my friendship offer to lend to him my 2.66 first gear ratio, I continue to think that it would be the only mods he need to get into the 9.99.

The 2.66 gear ratio(Z06 MM6 ratio) should easily propel him with is excellent driver talent to low 1.40 and maybe 1.38 60' and a lot better 60'-330' time.

Anyway, he are the bosss, and he could decide what mods he needs.
The only think he have to paid, is the shipping cost of the gear to his house, and the labor to swap them.

Or he could send the tranny to me and I will swap them for free.
All he have to do is return to me the gear when he would sell the car one day or pay them to me when he decide to stay with this ratio for the 1st-4th gear because he really like them.

Sincerly ,
Seb

Interesting, This really doesnt sound like a bad idea or for that matter a expensive option. A simple gear swap and it puts the ZR1 into the 9's with the swap being the only mod beside DR's....

Well went back out for warmer weather testing. I wanted to see how the car would act/run in warmer weather. I went back to MIR yesterday 17th Saturday. The weather was nice minus the air temp. Last time out for the 10.26 pass it was 45degrees. Now with with the air temps going from 65-75degrees while running definitely made a difference in what the stock computer wants to do. Regrettfully I did forget to log the car. However it was obvious the car wasnt adding the timing it usually does in the cooler days.

Best run with a bog
60ft 1.588
330ft-4.512
1/8mi-6.872
1/8mph-104.84
1000ft-8.892
1/4mi-10.593
1/4mph-132.79mph

The track was slippery on the first run was pretty much a throw away. 3rd run car bogged bad to a 10.63@132.54pass. I'm sure on a smooth pass it would've went a 10.50@133mph. I ended up running some friends cars and having fun with them.

I have some go pro videos of the runs sitting close the ground pointing at the front wheel and rear wheel. ENJOY what the ticket booth guys say as I come around after running a few cars by them. They were really cool and I did envoke the comment "slightly". LOL!

Heres a video a aj2500hd's wife took. If you can stop it perfectly at 48seconds I'd like to save that screen shot with the wheels up from the side. Just for the record I couldnt figure how to save it.

Hey, I was just looking the video. Did you see how much toe-in you got at the launch !!! Incredible !!! Also look the tire grown. You could clearly see the lip of the rim at the end of the run. Nice cam position. Is it a 5500 RPM+ launch ?

Well done.

Good eye..... yes I was also surprised how much the control arms/bushings flex on launch but even on the shifts especially 1-2shift the wheel moving in and out. The tire growing I thought I posted here aswell but must've been in another section. I was also surprised to see a small sidewalled 315/30/18 sidewall grow going down the track. It looks like it actually may swell up to a 1/4in height wise going down the track IMO.
As for the launch yes its approx 5000-5500rpm on launch showin in several of the logs in here. I think this one was 5000rpm cause the track wasnt hooking as well to start out and then came around.
