Default About to snap!

For 2 days now on gmconnect and on chevys website it has said my car has been delivered to dealership and to everyones surprise there is no car no where to be found, ive called everyone i could call and all everyone does is point fingers at each other and tell me just to wait it out, the dealer is not doing anything on there end to look into it either, this is unacceptable, has this happen to anyone else here before or am i the lucky one to experience it first

Never had heard of that but I was just reading that they just held all the ZL1s due to some undisclosed issue and that they had to look over it for at least 2 weeks.

are you doing a museum delivery? if not where is your dealer located?

I did museum delivery and this is what my details were:

01/19/2012 (4000) Vehicle available to ship.
01/19/2012 (4150) Invoiced (order is invoiced to the dealer).
01/19/2012 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
01/23/2012 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
01/30/2012 (6000) Vehicle delivered to customer or dealer has completed customer paperwork.
02/03/2012 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
02/03/2012 (4200) Shipped (vehicle is shipped to the dealer or interim point of delivery).
02/03/2012 (5000) Vehicle has been delivered to dealer.

Feb 3rd was a Friday, but the people at the museum said the car didn't actually make it over until Mon 6th
So i'm guessing that they consider it delivered once it is signed for by the trucking company, not when it actually makes it to the dealer

It's probably in route on the truck, so I wouldn't panic yet

Oh and I was told for museum deliveries they put it on a truck the same way as if going to a dealer because of liability if they were to drive it to the museum

Absolutely normal with GMCONNECTS.....my ZL-1 has been "Ready to ship or transfer" for almost a month now.....all ZL-1's are now on hold for "QC" which means who knows what.....it is a good system as far as it goes but it is not exactly a "Real Time" barometer of where your car is in their processes.....

I believe B-ZR1 is right. I think it transfers to 'delivered to dealer' status when it's handed off to the truck. So, that means your ZR1 is sitting on the semi along with some other Corvettes in the parking lot of a strip club while the truck driver is inside getting his rocks off.

It'll make it to the dealership soon.

Same thing happend to my 2012. The dealer actually put it in the system as a sold unit and it bumped it to "Delivered to Dealership" There will be be correction to that soon and then it show as delivered again when it really shows up. Not to worry.

See below: See dates 9/8 and 9/13

09/08/11 (6000) Vehicle delivered to customer or dealer has completed customer
paperwork. (Actually, when dealer received the invoice they reported as a sold unit)
09/09/11

09/08/11 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or
transfer to vendor

Finally after being on phone with many different people i finally got an answer from the plant, there was a mistake on the drivers part and the status should of never went to delivered, the car as of now is in NJ, as i am in NY, on track for tonight or tomm morning....

The reason there prob holding back on the new camaros is because of "quality control"... i was told at the plant, before they send a new batch of cars all over the united states they wanna catch any bugs if any while still in there possession

Don't worry! The truck drivers randomly take them for a few short cruises just to make sure everything, such as launch control, works properly. It's standard procedure for the ZR1. Your car should be received at the dealership anytime now.
