These tires are awesome. Fit perfect on my 07 with no rubbing whatsoever. No codes no lights. The guys at TireDiscounters were in awe at how big the rears were.

Car rides at stock height but the tires make the wheel gap look smaller. And from straight back the tires give the car a wider stance as you can see in the pics.

Vs. the Goodyears, the car rides smoother no doubt and there is less road noise echoing in the hatch area.

As far as grip I haven't gotten on the throttle as of yet but did notice that these don't break loose at the point where my old Goodyears would.

I plan on heat cycling these suckers and giving the car a good romping to test grip limits soon. Will report back.

Shipped from tirerack to my door overnight- total cost was 1792 shipped. And if you order all 4 now, Michelin will send you a rebate form for $70.

TireDiscounters mount/balance and alignment was 150.

These are NOT runflats.

Wow, they look awesome;-) when you have logged a few hundred miles, please update to inform if there are indeed no rubbing issues under any driving condition or codes.

They look great. Which Michelin tire is that? Is it the Super Sport? I'm about to put tires on my Z06 and am trying to decide which tire and which size. I was thinking of going with standard size Super Sports, since my car is lowered a bit. I like the taller ones, but I'm afraid I'd have rubbing issues.

Oh..you need to polish your exhaust tips!

Congrats! I know you were excited about these. That is a sharp looking car. Can't wait to see how well those rears stick.

Kind of like trying to slide someone sitting on a box vs. someone on a chair. Those rears just don't want to go sideways, even if you nail it in the rain from a roll. I think the forward traction (no slip) is because of the compound and the lateral grooves (on outer and inner chunks of the tire).

They don't make PSS in 295/18 and if you are running 19/20 wheels they don't make a 20" for the rear of the C6 Z06 as the 20 width is a 30 tire which is too tall. Perhaps you are running PS2's, not these PSS?

It was 40 degrees out here in Cincy yesterday.

Took the car on 3 freeway trips and watched the tires warm up on the DIC from 29 to 32psi.

Then, on the way to dinner last night- with warm tires- I was driving a wide swooping on ramp and once the road straightened, stabbed it in 2nd at about 40 mph.

I have never felt my car pull like this.

Tires stuck and catapulted us to redline with no skipping, hopping or sideways drama.

I then tried 1st from a roll. Lost grip at about 4k rpm.

On the bright side - the loss of traction was predictable- not the normal hopping and drama experienced with the stock GY's.

Hopefully warmer temps will allow the tires to stick more! My fingers are crossed cause the headers and cams are going in next week!

I'll be sure to get better pics when we get a nice sunny day. Supposed to be 60 on Tuesday.

Try 1st from a stop with a couple feet of rollout. Or 1st from a roll but ease it into for about as much time as you would with a rollout. I can't even remember what I posted a couple weeks ago, think it was 50 deg. F and I got it to work. If it doesn't work out, you may have found the temperature limit. If it is 40 deg. F that's still pretty insane. I had problems with the GYs in friggin' 70 deg. weather (worthless until they warmed up).
