I have drag slicks as well, but only a 28x10.5 will fit under the car without hitting... that tire does ok in some situations, but we want to make the tire will will be using for our series work.

Well, to no surprise we lost first round with at 7.68@160 to K. Mitchell's 6.86@212....
Good news is that we set some personal bests...
we are consistantly running 1.27 60's now...
That pass looked like this
60' 1.27
330 3.321
1/8 4.90@150.92
1000 6.37
1/4 7.68@160.00
Pedaled the car 3 times that pass... big end was very slippery...
We set a lot of personal bests this weekend and new ET and MPH records for IRS Corvettes...
7.68 new ET Record
195 new MPH Record
Thanks to everyone that helped out and we will continue testing... there is still a LOT left in it!

Oh I thought tire size(DR's) was what was the problem with the et's. I understsnd the classes but I thought you would put the biggest/best tire you could get under it to see what the fastest you could run in the 1/4.

Later, after all the races are done, if I have not accomplished enough, then maybe we will try some different sizes, but the goal here is to win races.

Best pass was the 7.22@209.75 yesterday, but here is some food for thought....
We were only getting 1.3x 60's yesterday and our normal "best passes" are always in the 1.27 range. Also, since it was 90 degrees yesterday we had to put a 5 second boost ramp in the boost controller. As Patrick put it, "that's the gayest tune up I've ever put in a car, this butch is going 6's"
We were working with 140+ track temps yesterday and were really not pushing the boost until 3rd gear!
I'm pretty happy with these results for our second time out, I think the next time out we are going to be even faster.
We have videos and pictures coming soon!

We've had Sal's TT Viper 7.11 as our "Bench-mark" for so long I am not even sure. I know there were one or two Supra's down there as well but not sure if they were in the teens or twenty's?
We have the MPH covered so now it's just a matter of getting that short-time down and it should be right where we want it
