Not a dumb question at all. I still cannot get my glove box to close with the owner’s manual inside. I fight the glove box door every time I open it.
There is nothing worst then when your passenger opens the dam thing up.
I am glad I am not alone.

I hope that with all this response that it is in no way a dumb question. I keep mine between the two bolt bins on my work bench. Fits perfectly and my car is 3.5 pounds lighter without all that stuff. In all my years of driving, I have never had a need to read my manuals while on the road.

I havent seen a manual that fits in any car glove box in 20 years. That book could be 1/4 the size. So much useless crap in there
