I don't know what you consider "high mileage".

My '06 Z06 has about 42,000 miles on it, and that includes probably 25 track days. That's probably not what you'd call high mileage.

Forum member jimman probably has 120,000 on his by now.

I daily drive mine about 15k a year....currently at 34k.

My neighbor had an 06 Z with our headers, G7X3 cam, G2 coil overs....also a daily driver. He sold the car at 68k miles, new owner brought the car in the other day for a check up at 89k miles. Only change was new valve springs, oil, and tires.

08...21k miles...it's my DD...yea not high mileage, just about 10k miles a year thus far (bought in june 09 -new). I'm not too worried, my powertrain is good up to 2014, and thus far my dealer has been really great about handling the small issues that have appeared here and there.

Hey Jim - 143,000 WooHoo!!!!

That's the original engine, so I'm interested to hear about your valve guides, springs, rocker arms, leak down, etc. when you get that info.

I seem to remember that somewher around 100,000 you had it in for some service and put a new clutch in - but as I recall the original clutch was still in good serviceable condition.

Looking forward to hear what you find when they take a look at it!!

How you been, a couple of us with Z06's just finished a cross country trip, awesome have to do that again, 7000 miles. Start San Diego, Salt Lake, Custer's Last Stand, Rushmore, Corvette museum, Atlanta for the Talladega NASCAR race then back cross country ahead of all the storms.
