12,000 Mile Idiot Lights/Promps
I jsut turned 12,000 miles on my 2009 ZO6. Everytime I start it now the display tells me to Service Active Handling - Service Traction Control System - Check Brake Fluid -etc. All of these items are working perfectly. Is there anyway to reset these 12K prompts besides taking it to the dealer to have it done?

My Z's DIC went bezerk flashing every alarm programmed into the system when my battery was bad, unbeknownst to me at the time, of course.
Check your battery.

I agree with the above. Those messages are an indicator of a problem. The only thing that turns them on is an active diagnostic code. With an 09 you may still be covered by the B2B warranty so get the car to the dealer for repair.

Problem solved!
I checked the brake fluid as prompted - it was a bit low - added - and the other prompts went away. It makes sense, since the active handling system depends on the brake system/fluid levels being OK. I feel kind of dumb, but relieved over the situation.

I haven't had these symptoms in my Z but I had all sorts of lights popping up in my mustang. It turned out to be a bad alternator.
So a bad battery is not too far fetched, especially since Landru already went through that.

Same thing happened with mine. It finally said check brake fluid level and sure enough it was low. Fixed.
