Funny story, I have a friend with a black 06 eclipse that he washes and details religiously. One day we meet up at the gym, he had just finished detailing his car right before and showed me. It looked great, but it also looked like rain...we get done working out and its pouring cats and dogs, he get so mad that he throws a weight and brakes one of the mirrors in the gym...I had to hide my laughter or I was next
OP, murder her.

"It was late when I got home so I parked her outside"
Your fault. It was by your actions and choices that the incident occurred. No way in hell I would ever leave my Vette parked outside.

I completely detailed my black ZO6 Friday and went to the Gator football game Saturday night in Gainesville. It was late when I got home so I parked her outside (didn't want dogs barking, etc to wake everybody up). I went out this morning to get the paper and the wife decided to water the lawn last night. She forgot to turn off the system and the timer is set to come on Sunday morning. You guessed it....water spot city.
I guess I know what I am doing for Labor Day.
One of these days I really have to think about buying a different color car!

Need pics of wife in bathing suit.
Then can decide if this is your fault or hers.

I know you've already been lambasted for your original posting. When something like this happens, I have a standard question for people who complain about something they do/did voluntarily (Like extra work):
"Did someone put a gun to your head and make you do that ? "(Park outside ?)
Since the answer is always no... I tell them to stop the whining...
I fully understand about not wanting to wake up your wife. My wife is such a light sleeper, I joke she wakes up when I turn down the street.

Burning Brakes
lmfao ahh the joys of owning black cars... my crap luck is that every time I drive in to the house, after being out all night and the car still remaining spotless, the sprinklers turn on and soak my car as I am witing for the gate to open. Happens to me at least once a week lol

If that is the worst thing your wife has done to you, I will trade you wives any day. Mine would laugh and tell me to go F myself and sh&t in my hat. She would treat me like crap for a month if I even remotely inferred it was her fault. Then she would wait until the next time I detailed the car and spray it with water just because now she knows it is something else that could get to me.
In modern America and (at least in NJ), there is nothing a man can do about it. At any moment, for ANY reason, she can have most of my money for the rest of her life at the blink of her eye.
