That sounds like an overreaction...

OP, murder her.

"It was late when I got home so I parked her outside"

Your fault. It was by your actions and choices that the incident occurred. No way in hell I would ever leave my Vette parked outside.

it's not the color, wife, or the car, it's the owner

OK, OK, one lousy time. I admit the error of my ways!

As a punishment and to make it up to her (the Vette) I will agree to provide one new mod this week...........?

I guess I know what I am doing for Labor Day.
One of these days I really have to think about buying a different color car!
This is precisely why I am terrified of leaving my Z outside. Inside the garage is goes. Heck, I'm less worried about water spots than some neighborhood kid playing baseball in the street or some dog walker or bike rider careening into it.

Wait? You guys have automatic sprinkler systems? Haha. Nothing a good wash will not cure.

You don't have to pay for a wife...you have to pay to get rid of them.

Need pics of wife in bathing suit.

Then can decide if this is your fault or hers.

I have a black Z also, parked it at the golf course, when I came out the front clip was covered with water spots baked on by the sun. A wash and a wax did not remove the spots. I had to spend hours with a buffer, cleaner polish and then wax to remove. Needless to say...I was very pissed...

I know you've already been lambasted for your original posting. When something like this happens, I have a standard question for people who complain about something they do/did voluntarily (Like extra work):

"Did someone put a gun to your head and make you do that ? "(Park outside ?)

Since the answer is always no... I tell them to stop the whining...

I fully understand about not wanting to wake up your wife. My wife is such a light sleeper, I joke she wakes up when I turn down the street.

lmfao ahh the joys of owning black cars... my crap luck is that every time I drive in to the house, after being out all night and the car still remaining spotless, the sprinklers turn on and soak my car as I am witing for the gate to open. Happens to me at least once a week lol

If that is the worst thing your wife has done to you, I will trade you wives any day. Mine would laugh and tell me to go F myself and sh&t in my hat. She would treat me like crap for a month if I even remotely inferred it was her fault. Then she would wait until the next time I detailed the car and spray it with water just because now she knows it is something else that could get to me.

In modern America and (at least in NJ), there is nothing a man can do about it. At any moment, for ANY reason, she can have most of my money for the rest of her life at the blink of her eye.
