Default My Version 2011 SSB Carbon Z07

Well just got the car back today from the body shop with my version of the Carbon Edition Z07. I bought mine before the Carbon limited edition came out and really wanted the carbon fiber hood. Also saw a car with the side skirts and the stock front splitter which I thought looked pretty good. My driveway is too steep to get in and out with the carbon splitter; and I use ramps as it is; which is why I bought mine without the carbon option. Well I found a take off OEM carbon edition hood and bought new carbon OEM side skirts from GM. I'm very happy with the result and my version of the Carbon Edition. Also wanted to thank Chris owner of Richey Collision here in Houston for nailing the color match on the hood, which believe me was no easy task! Added some more pics on page 2.

The only thing you left off was the step on the front used to clean your hood (jschindler will appreciate that...)

J/K...your car looks "fantastic"

Carbon Ed Hood makes the car stand out!
Is the paint a perfect match in person? It looks like it is in the pictures.
I would like to do the hood on my SSB but finding someone to match the paint scares me.

I've yet to see a CF hood with the 427 emblems on them. I think that would look great, JMO.

The paint looks to be a perfect match to the naked eye in the sunlight. I'd recommend going to someone with a proven custom painting track record.

Can't go wrong with Richey Collision. They did a great job on my DSOM 06. I'll be seeing them soon for some touch up on my JSB 09 Z.

Thats my favorite hood. I thinks it matches the lines of the vette perfectly Its subtle but adds a more aggresive stance.

Where did you find it? If you don't mind me asking, what was the approximate price? I considered ordering one from my Vette dealer but the GM price was they quoted me was $6,000.
