three cars?i fooled around with a guy the other night and it was bus leghts as in 30 to 40 car lengths. He had a black camaro ss with exhaust i would never had brought it up but since you did.Honestly there is no great accomplishement beating a car 800 pounds heavier, and that has 80 h.p less.Big deal.

i know it's hard to contain the excitement of driving such a beast, however, street racing is dangerous, illegal, and this post will be locked by tomorrow.

So, your 3,050# 505hp car took a 3,900# 426hp bolt-on car? Unless that bolt-on was a supercharger, the results were rather predictable.

The Camaro SS does nothing for me from an aesthetic and performance perspective.

My 4060 lbs daily driver 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, beat one by a full .7 tenths of second (approx. 7 car lengths) at the dragstrip, both cars were auto, and the Camaro looks best in a cartoon as it looks cartoonish to me.

IBFL.

Funny story. In 70, I probably would have dropped it into 2nd to really give the punishment... Turn that 3 car lead into 3 school bus lead

I'm surprised you felt the need to do this. You street raced and beat a car that never had a chance (forget the mouth of the SS owner).

Just what did you prove? I wouldn't have posted this - it makes you look foolish.

IBTL.

Not like any of those who are not here condoning street racing have ever done this before as well.. They have, they just do not go on a public forum and post about it.

Oh yeah.. I will all my IBTL as well.
