The US show sucks compared to UK.... Its a shame really because by US standards this show ( and maybe the Car Show hosted by Adam Caorlla) is miles ahead of the typical motorweek or insideline web vids we've become use to.

We all know that. But the American show is better than nothing.

The presenters on Top Gear America are just so terrible together, they have no chemistry whatsoever. It does not help that Tanner Foust tries way to hard to be Clarkson. Clarkson seems really cool while Tanner seems like a total douche bag who talks down to you.
I wouldnt be shocked at all if Foust was the Top Gear America Stig.

The Aventador is the best looking Lambo since the early Countach.

Next showing is Wenesday at 10p.m. He did a burnout in the zr1, plain and simple. I thought the traction control helped that? The zr1 is fast but I think it takes a good driver to drive it fast.

The aftermarket tires on the ferrari could have been the downfall. It was a second slower on 22" rims with who knows what for tires.

Can't get over how at the end of the video even the short guy looks like a giant standing next to the Lambo, they are really low to the ground
Lambos have a repuation of being biased against tall drivers..... as if that is the only thing keeping me from getting one

I love the Brittish, Australian and US Top Gear shows. After watching this episode when they were drag racing it pissed me off that the ZR1 did not use Launch control during the drag race. WTF That was just sad to watch. Adam Ferrara made the ZR1 look bad against the Ferrari

Chemistry makes the 'original' BBC UK Top Gear my fav TV show. These guys have a little more this season than last season - last season was zero so they had nowhere to go but up. Rutledge Wood is just annoying and adds nothing to the show.
The ZR1 vs 458 comparison was one of the more entertaining comparisons they've done so far, but the 'drag race' was pitiful. It is TV after all, but come on. Then to put the Stig in the ZR1 vs a 22"-wheeled 458 was a little dumb to me. That 458 was beautiful - but it couldn't have handled as Ferrari intended it to with those massive rear wheels.
Biggest difference is when the British TG takes shots a car - interior, exterior, handling, power - it's sarcastic and funny. They took shots at the ZR1 alright (some were good points) but it just didn't have the same effect. Just sounded like bashing. If Adam F had called it a 'battering ram' one more time I was going to vomit.

They never showed a drag race between the ZR1 and the 458.
What they showed was some edited together clips of a ZR1 and a 458 driving down the road. I'm not even sure the launch footage was from an actual race.
Drag races aren't *that* boring, why won't anyone show an actual race?
It seems like all of the TV shows do this; Top Gear UK, Fifth Gear, the non-UK Top Gears.

It's really simple. To make the ZR1 a sub 3 second car, it needs to be lighter and have a better transmission. Chevrolet is going to have to go with a system like Ferrari. Look for it on the C7. A friend of mine has an Aventador ordered, I cannot wait to take a ride. Radical.

(Aventador) How does this car stack up against the ZR1 at the "ring"?
