I am getting a z06 out here in san diego soon, and I was wondering if anyone else on here has one out in san diego as well.

The z06 has an air splitter on the front that goes lower than a stock c6 or does it? If that's the case does anyone take this off in san diego?

I know my brother has a stock c6 out here and he still scrapes on some stuff and has to take it easy with all the hills out here.

I'm in San Diego and mine scrapes occasionally (just like my 2006 C6 coupe did). You just have to be careful, especially parking with those damn concrete tire stops. My cousin, who's also in San Diego took his off because of scraping all the time. I think it ruins the look.

thanks, didn't even realize there were regional forums, never made it that far down the forums list... anyway I feel like the question could still be applied to the entire z06 community, or at least those in hilly areas, as i'm sure there are other places similar to so cal that have hills.

I've got an APR splitter and have no problems. Sure it scrapes once in a while but no big deal. Yeah, there's a few of us in SD.

The MVCC (Mission Valley Corvettes & Cobras) has a run the first Sat of each month, when you get into town bring your Z out to play.
