You had a great plan and nicely executed. Changing the interior like that makes it seem like a brand new car.
Very well done. Very well, indeed.

You're right, no arm rests. They are $255 each and frankly, that is too much money for something I could probably make myself lol The areo kit is fiberglass with black sanded primer. That's how it came from Cianci. I plan on painting them black or maybe the new "black flash metallic" found on the new Centennial corvettes. I don't think it would look at all out of place if you were to paint them flat black. In fact here is a pic of someone who has done just that (not my car):
Thanks. I followed your guide the whole time and it was perfect. That's the plan for my car: completely restore to new condition, mechanically and esthetically. Hope to get it repainted soon, then its either off to get some preventative engine maintenance or new 2012 ZR1 wheels. Haven't made my mind up yet. [/QUOTE]
Personally, I much prefer your Z06 Spider wheels to the ZR1 wheels. Too many spokes on the ZR1 wheels. Just my opinion.

I also agree. Those arent my spider wheels though, I still have the 5 split spoke stock Z06 wheels. I'm looking into getting either chrome spiders or the new style centennial wheels...it depends if I can afford the larger tires. Either way it'll look killer

Your dad owns a auto body shop? I know you hate when that happens. Can't wait to see it after being painted. I am dreaming of painting mine too at some point. Beautiful car you have there.

A guy repainted his z06 this color I believe. Search for a thread called "non original corvette colors" or something like that...It looks great. I'm thinking of painting my aero trim the new centennial black...might do the halo and roof as well, well see...I saw what plain black looks like and it just doesn't work for me..

Car looks great, who makesvthe interior panels? I have the same car and want to get the same center console but I'm not sure where to get one that looks that nice. Almost forgot who made the seat covers too?

They're all GM factory parts. These are the parts found in the upper trim models like the 4lt or My center console was ordered through GMPartsHouse. They go for about $600

One choice would be DS Vettes. They do fantastic work.
Edit: Found the link for you if interested.

Are they out of a 2009-11? I see you have an 06-07 do the parts interchange? Are the parts interchangeable?

My parts actually all came from a 2010. They were slightly used, like 2,000 miles or so...basically new. Most parts, especially interior parts are all interchangeable throughout the entire corvette lineup. For instance, you can install the new style steering wheel from 2012 in a 2005. The dash needed a small modification to a bolt that holds the yaw sensor in place but that was it.
