1960 corvettes at le mans in france
Don't know how many of you guys are going to Corvettes at Carlisle this year, but on Thursday of that week (the 25th of August) we are doing a repeat showing of 'THE QUEST'...a new feature-length (84 minutes) documentary about the #3 class-winning Cunningham Corvette from the 1960 Le Mans race. The film details what happened to it and the other three Corvettes in the ensuing 50 years and follows the 'quest' of Chip Miller to find, acquire, restore and return the #3 car to France in 2010
to mark the 50th anniversary of its historic win. As many of you know,
Chip died of a rare disease in early 2004 and his son, Lance, picked up the dream for his dad.
