[ZR1] 2012 centennial edition zr1

Well, congrats to you, Harvey. Can't wait to be in your shoes picking up mine! I'm envious! Enjoy!
I'm with you on the stripe, Harvey. But then, I'm frequently accused of being two years behind on fads, if the stripe is one.
It got me to wondering how those black wheels (really like the style) would look with a thin blue stripe, and blue calipers, on my Blade Silver 2010, with the blue badging.

The tires look like spare tire "donuts". The interior suede seat inserts do look cheesy. The total black look is boring. Other than that its a great Car. Well worth the small fortune GM will be asking for it.
PS- Are those the 5K mile tires?

Everyone complains about the seats for years then GM puts a new, better, seat and you complain its cheesy. If GM contracted John Caravaggio to do the seats everyone seems to love, then people would be complaining the cost is to high when in actuality it would probably be close to what you pay now on your own.
For years the Ring times could have been improved with better tires, so GM puts a better, race-like, tire and you complain its only a 5k mile tire!
Please save your complaints and buy a base car and modify it to the "perfect" car and save GM the headaches!

Blue is standard, but red, silver, yellow, or dark gray metallic are available as options.
The CE comes with the red calipers.
Take look at pages 79 and 89 of the 2012 Ordering Guide:

My first vette was a 67 7-liter vert. I swear that had a red stripe around the tire.
Here is a picture I found showing the red stripe - it is a little bit different, but definitely a red stripe.

So, so. Nothing really special except maybe the black metallic paint that's on all sorts of other cars. I guess, you'll have to pay extra for those decals too.

And my dealer finally found out that the 2012 ZR1 is fitted with blue brake calipers as standard, all the other colors are extra cost. I do wonder why they would put red calipers on the Centennial Edition ZR1, sounds more like a Z06 color.

Stopped by the other day and looked at the pricing sheet for the 2012's and told my buddy about your ordering the number 100. Just wondering if you have to wait for the 100th car to be built or do you get it now with the vin no. 100?

My guess is for $5K, you get it built as the order being processed and they skip 100 when 99 comes on the assembly line. GM reserves the right to not honor the VIN order. IMO, a waste of money.

Congratulations on ordering one of the quickest cars on the planet.
Considering the territory sports cars are reaching, I doubt it will ever be considered slow - imho a very nice "investment" for future fun!
