This has a cartek designed valve train, it also has forged pistons, rods crank etc. The engine carries strongly all the way to 7600 rpm. Not something you will get from a hydraulic roller.

I decided to go with a FAST manifold for cost, I would love to entertain ITB, but with the cost I would rather save it and add some Nitrous in the future.

it's all done at 6700 rpm why would you want to take it to 7600 rpm for?
no need for a soild cam with a fast intake

I don't plan on taking it to 7600 rpm, my question is why no fast intake?

My goals with this solid roller are to be very fast, I'm pretty sure it will perform.

the intake realy limits your peak hp to the mid 6g rpm range

My thoughts exactly. Seems like the stock style intake is holding back the combo.

With a short runner intake it would need a different cam and more compression, then 93 would be out of the question and E85 is not readily available here yet.

It's not very aggressive for a solid roller, it's designed around a long runner such as the one used in the FAST 102 but has more aggressive ramp speeds than hydraulic rollers do and also more power under the curve.

This is a tight lash solid roller set up that requires little maintenance. Since it uses a shaft mount rocker it eliminates the danger of the OE rockers needle bearings from coming apart normally associated with high valve lifts.

No doubt a better manifold would allow for more power.

However I haven't seen a stock cube ls7 with real pump gas compression (11.2:1) even close to 630rwhp. Not even within a dream of that much power. And Carteks cars run at the track.

Awesome work Julio. Congrats to the op. Enjoy.

Congrats on the car Great numbers and a nice combo! I saw your car shortly after they put the rims on it... it looks menacing especially with the stance it has. Enjoy in good heath

Yes, I do have plans to take it the track. I have a CCW drag pack ready, I just need some practice as I've only hit the track twice before with a bad clutch.

Very strong numbers Daniel, that car has got to be downright nasty on the highway.
