I figure to. I work at a race track that is hosting "Viper Day!"
I work "control" on the road course so I'll park my Z06 right by my station.
(Somebody gives me s**t I'll "black flag" the ****! )

You just called a lot of military guys in Iraq and Afghanistan weenies!! And just FYI, in my case I take train to work. No parking in Chicago. Plus I can work and commute. Furthermore if I take the garage queen out of my garage, who rules it?

Might have to drive it on both Fridays.
For the last eleven years, the Friday closest to June 30th is chosen as the day to drive your Corvette to work. Mid America’s Mike Yager came up with the concept as a way to show just how popular Corvettes are.
The date was chosen as June 30th is the official birthday of the Corvette. That’s when the first 1953 Corvettes begin rolling off the temporary assembly line in Flint, Michigan.

I already drive it daily..and I'm not in the office thursday or friday this week.
Funny thing is I drove it to work on "national ride your bike to work day" on wednesday and I'll be riding my Moots 29er (MTB) on friday.
Z06 will get some track time on saturday at HPR so all will be right.

Sheesh! Whoever came up with this idea never drove a low-to-the-ground sports car on the Belt Parkway

Actually, July 1st is the Friday closest to June 30th.
All the references I've seen to this day mention that it's on the Friday closest to June 30th, but I guess they fail to mention that it's the Friday in June closest to June 30th.
I don't think it's ever been in July, has it?
