I'm really close to ordering this hood for my Atomic Orange Z06. Some people have mentioned maybe leaving it all carbon fiber and not painting it. Can you do this, and do you have any pictures what the hood looks like on top when you receive it? Thanks!

Yea, I knew that the thread was old and the sale was expired. I was just looking for any pictures I could find of the hood and came across it. Thanks for the link you supplied. So, if I order the hood for approximately $3000, that's what the hood will look like when I get it? I could just put it straight on my car and not paint it, or anything? It would look as good as the katech carbon car hood in the link you gave me? Or does it cost more to get the carbon fiber finished look on the top? Thanks for your help! It's a lot of money and just want to be sure before I order.

Hey, one more quick question. Do you, or anyone you know make good quality carbon fiber side mirrrors for the Z06? I have been looking all over the internet and can only find cheaply made ones. I really don't want fake carbon fiber tape, or some cheap laminate. Thanks again!

According to Tony Nguyen (tonyn@aprperformance.com), a first batch will be produced next fall, both plain weave and twill weave carbon fiber. Cost: $850.00 - $900.00.

Apsis makes some now. Had mine for about a year and a half. Cost was $1800 for both. Have held up perfectly in Florida sun and heat and 30k miles

Thanks for that info. That's awesome! I already have APR front splitter, side skirts, rear deck spoiler, and rear diffuser. I love all of their stuff and get tons of compliments. I really hope that they do come out with side mirrors.
