I admit that I love the Corvette, every style, color, all of them. But I have to say that of all of the ones I have seen, Supersonic Blue on the ZR1 with the contrasting blue badges, blue calipers, and chrome wheels is my favorite. I guess that is why I got rid of my Grand Sport and my Harley at the wife's request in order to own the car I have fallen oin love with!

I agree!! I think the chrome looks best on all ZR1 colors--not a fan of grey or blk wheels, yet I appreciate the fact that each of us has diff tastes!

That whole discussion about chrome was a part of our conversation numerous times. We say if you like it, want it on your car and it would definitely look good on a Corvette, then do it! No matter what anyone else says.

Put me on that list of chrome..like you said it looks awesome with all colors..I respect what all people like on their cars but to me black wheels do nothing to enhance the looks of any car..way to ricer looking for me.

I'm in the minority when it comes to chrome on the ZR1.


I think all ZR1's look great, however, I believe the chrome takes away from the beauty of the car. To me, chrome is for adding some "bling" to a "bling-less" vehicle.

Searched for some time to find my color combo w/non-chrome wheels.

And thats fair..looks are so subjective so to each his own..I do like silver like in the pisture but lMO if you put black wheels on that same car it will take away from the beautiful lines of the ZR1..I also think it's an age thing the older you are I think we tend to like chrome or bright silver wheels the younger crowd seem to like the black and dark gray wheels.

I prefer the Chromes The Black Out Look is nice too, but the gleam of these wheels spinning in the sun can't be beat

I like both Chrome & Black but they are just 2 different looks to me.

To me,Chrome on ZR1s make the car look more dressy/fancy while black makes the car look like a race car.

I like the chrome, but went with black because I wanted a race car look.

Either way, I'm glad they don't make only one choice, because I like to see all the different looks

IF I ever get another one I am going for the Black look I really want the Black Headlamps but for the $$$.... If the Black wheels etc were avail when I got the ZR I def would have went that way
