I was driving through a parking lot with one of my freinds when a couple of guys in a spanking new 911 turbo convertible porsche pulled up next to us and the driver gave his car a shot of gaz .We then headed towards the highway where he was trying to get me to go.The guy eventually got next to me ,we were going side by side i downshifted to third gear and we both hit it .My car instantly pulled ahead and was starting to really stretch him as the speed increased.We did it three times and everytime my bone stock 2007 z06 was pulling away from this brand new twin turbo porsche.As the guy got off at the next exit he honked and gave me the thumbs up.Oh what a rush that was.I would say i had him by three to four car lengths everytime.

Yeah, the new 10's and up Turbo S's with the PDK transmission are running the 1/4 mile (even per Car and Driver or Motor Trend) in the 10.7 - 10.9 range.

what does 0-60/pdk/ launch control have to do with a 60-80 roll? i think stock for stock they both trap the same. if he downshifted to 3rd, (prob 80mph)????? im not surprised he pulled him

2010 or newer for sure and we were going aorund 60 mph when we hit it.After 2007 they all look the same but i took a good look at it when we were in the parking lot going very slowly and it really looked very new .Exhaust,tires,shine of the paint .I know from a dig he would have said bye bye but this was on the highway as i mentioned previously.

Started at 60 mph and went up to about 140 then i looked in the side mirror and he let off .Three times roughly the same starting speed and each time once i was well ahead he let off.Cool guy gave me the thumbs up when he got off at the exit.

911 turbo doesnt look the same as a regular one has vents on the side spoiler in the back is different ,turbo is written on the deck lid .i think i know. I use to drive an 03 and although no where near as fast as the newer one it was still a pretty quick car.
