Default I love my Z but.....

I just can't stand how low it is in the front, the splitter is so low that it hits just about anything, I would gladly give up a few MPH on top for a car that would at least clear the parking stops that are in every parking lot in the world. My 09 C6 non Z was no problem. Even though I am aware of the problem and I am very careful, the splitter on my car has taken a beating. Guess I need something to NOT be thrilled about, even a Z can't be perfect.

Raise the front of the car on the factory bolts to the highest setting. Should get you another inch of ground clearance.

I'm careful but it still happens now and then no matter how careful your are. I'm on my 2nd front lip and splitter.

Just drive it and enjoy it.

You can't park without hitting the parking stops? Do you park by ear?

You just need practice, my friend, or take the advice above and back in. That's what I do, on all my vehicles. It's actually easier once you get used to it.

+1

or

You can purchase an in car adjustable suspension which will raise your height an inch or two at a push of a button. There is a vendor that sells these, but I don't have the address on this computer.

or

If the stock bolts don't go high enough an aftermarket coilover kit will allow more height adjustment.

or

You can purchase the rollers that go under your front bumper which take most of the hit when your front end bottoms out.

Here's a proximity sensor system that was mentioned in another thread:

To the OP... Most of us LOWER our Z06s even more than stock.... so we just can't relate to your issue...
Maybe a CTS-V would be better suited for your driving style

I agree with frank.

performance cars will be lower by nature

the z is low....but not that low stock AT ALL.

Mine is slammed...you just need to learn how to drive a lowered car....pull in to drives at angles...dont pull too far up in a parking spot...etc etc....

Instead of parking forward, back it up in the stalls.
