Nice work Carlos. 96kpa is still pretty good for front feeder low profile manifold, but your right, there is still some left on the table most likely. I wonder if e85 will ever catch on to the rest of the country? I guess it all depends on who is in office and who's pockets would be lined with that happening. :/
I tell you what, that corn-fuel has enabled us to make insane power and torque with added safety.
4% of vacuum may not sound like much but brotha, its a lot! We have a couple of ideas to try, more to come.
Otherwise, I may have to try an expensive sheet metal intake just to see what happens
Thanks,
Carlos

I believe sooner or later E85 will be available everywhere.

Congratulations Carlos kick*ss results!!! I'm gonna give mine a little bump in compression this winter, with some better heads, Thanks for sharing your data! Nice to see a few of us push the envelope with E85, what a great "pump" fuel... exciting times...
Are you running 17/8in primarys or 2in?

Your beast is kicking butt as well. I need to talk to Taylor about one of his LS7 sheet metal intakes
I'm running ARH 1 7/8 headers with no cats.
Speaking of envelopes, check out my next modding/testing goal:
9 gallons of E85
1 gallon of prototype 120 octane leaded fuel
120lbs injectors
We have seen this fuel mixtures on FI cars and brother, the gains are unreal!!!
Time to test it on my N/A application seeing what it does.
Thanks,
Carlos

My set up is as follow: Billet rails, 80lbs injectors and a braided line feeding from firewall to rails and a cross over braided line...see pics on original post.
Nothing exotic

Carlos

That's the same setup I am currently running as far as fuel delivery. Any signs of fuel pressure dropping on the hundo dry shot and nearly 800 rwhp?? I love dry shots for tunability and nitrous control, but I was concerned the pump wouldn't flow enough for what I was wanting to do (similar to what you are doing)

And yes, I too prefer the dryshot on these LS motors up to 250HP.

Can you elaborate on the safety aspect. I open track a twin turbo mustang & just finished rebuilding it after melting a piston. I'm considering running e85 in hopes of less risk to melting pistons & having lower coolant temps on track. Are these realistic expectations?

E85 does offer a little more forgiveness buffer vs some race gas products and certainly over 93 oct.
E85 does make your car run cooler (coolant and oil). In our set up, there is no need to run high timing to achieve high power EVEN on E85.
Most of our E85 cars are running timing between 21* on low end to 17* on the high end due to the increased effeciency of the set up.
Hope this helps
Thanks,
Carlos
