Default Trip to the dyno...?

How many of you put your Z, stock or otherwise, on the dyno occasionally just to see if it's putting out the way it should be? My '08 has a little over 28K miles on it now. It's never been tracked, but I certainly do a lot of spirited driving. I know it bench presses 470 lb/ft, but I'm on the fence regarding whether or not it's good to know exactly what my car puts to the wheels now. Thanks.

500 hundred? Must be a huge xpipe.

Are you asking how much these engines lose over time?

When I owned an LS1, I wondered the same. I reviewed a LOT of stock dynos. The LS1's were making the same power at 100K miles, as they were new. 290-310 depending on transmission, provided everything was up to snuff (no bad coils, etc.)

I would imagine the LS7, being similar in many ways, is the same.

Say what you want, but GM builds the best NA motor out there in my opinion.
