That is just plain beautiful!!!!

I am leaving mine stock, even though I really want to put a Cam in there bad. but past experience with imports and blown engines / trannys has left me gun shy granted I was also running FI but I just couldnt afford 10-20 K for a new engine if something bad happened, unfoprtuantely I need the warranty.

I know plenty that are. It's annoying as hell to be around them because it's not practical to deal with all their crap.

Leave it stock.

I don't have one yet, but believe me when I do get one, it will get some toys thrown into it. 505hp at the crank just isn't fast enough IMO. She needs about another 100hp.

I definitely will keep the power train stock until my warranty is up-except for cold air induction-gotta have one.... However, my answer is no. I have mild 2 wild exhaust and some other exterior add-ons....and Lloyd mats ectera

Well, yes, I do plan t keep my 2007 Ron Fellows Z06 (#308) stock. Hopefully in a few years it will be worth much more than I paid for it. Meanwhile, I do have my modified 2002 Z06 to play with.

What kind of heads would you put on there? The stock heads are CNC ported. Does AFR/Trick Flow/DART make better heads ?

Yes the after market heads are stronger or better i guess for higher HP applications. Some of the parts in the stock heads are not recommended for high hp usage. (800HP+) Exhaust valves being one weak part not recommended in cars exceeding 800 hp.... valve guides... 6 bolt heads needed for high boost... and higher flow requirements. (I read that even the Nisan GTR has to swap out its exhaust valves as well for high HP applications... they use the same exhaust valves.)

There are several options for heads out there for LS7 which will outflow the stock heads. HP gains are usually around 30'ish... so its not the most economical gain for the money.

Texas Speed offers the PRC heads, but their link is currently down.

Mine is stock with a GMPP warranty.... But I do have Nitto Invo tires.

Every time I read about a Z06 with a motor issue, it reminds me I NEED to keep the warranty intact!!!
