Default Best tuners around NY/NJ/PA/CT area?

Hi fellas i wanted to get some input from you guys that have had your C6Zs tuned. I have what is concerned a "reputable" tuner in my area. Job Spetter, Sr. and Jr. at Turbo People in NY. From what I've researched in the past they appear to be some of the best vette tuners around. If this is not the case please let me know who is. I'm willing to drive a few states away if there are better tuners outside the NJ area. Thank you in advance for any input on this topic.

Thank you for the input friend. I'm checking out your website right now, not that my decision is based on how a website looks.

haha yeah our website needs some work. I prefer people to just stop by the shop so they can see with their own eyes what we are working on. If you arent too far away feel free to stop in.

Call Chuck at Corvettes of westchester! 2 friends and myself drove 9 hrs to see him over the weekend. Chuck is a perfectionist, the type of person you want to work on your car. Tell him Frank says hello.

ECS is the best around. I drive 3hrs to see them and would go twice as far. I don't have a C6Z, but they did a custom dry sump LS7 in my C5Z with a Katech cam. The work they did was outstanding, well beyond my expectations, car turns heads everywhere it goes.

My Z is still under warranty for a while, but I'll go back to ECS when it's time to mod/tune it. Call them. 609 752-0321

Give Fran a call at Race Proven Motorsports. They are currently fininshing up a TT build on my car. Fran and his shop team know what they are doing and take pride in it. If time allows go see for yourself.

Doug@ECS has tuned all my cars. One of the best tuners out there - lucky enough to have him right here in NJ.

Check them out:

Give Cartek a call in Northern NJ. I drive all the way from Syracuse, NY to get there. It's like a 4 or 5 hour car ride with the trailer in tow.

Thank you for all the additional replies fellas. Now I just need to figure who I'm going to give me cash to.

Btw, I meant to ask if any of these guys tune on the street or is it just dyno tuning? Lastly anyone have bungs welded into the midpipe before the cats to hook up a wideband? I have this on my 03 Cobra and had my 03 tuned on the street. I guess I'm just worried about the variances in A/F from being tuned on a dyno and then driving the car under the load on street since the conditions aren't the same as on the dyno.
