Additionally consider addressing the "Paint/Body" section for advice and/or recommendations, experiences posted there may prove more informative in providing which product(s) and methods are most effective.

*
1) Prep area
2) Apply color matched touch up paint (may take several coats) and let dry completely
3) Wetsand touch up area until even with surrounding paint
4) Polish until wetsand marks removed.
5) Apply Wax

*I would not recommend this method unless you have experience in this area!

From my old car:

touch up paint, wetsand, then polish with PC or rotary

after touch up paint on 3 places on my hood:

after wetsanding touch-up spots and some other scratches I wanted to take care of:

after 3 stages of polishing with PC:

I use a touch up kit from Dr. Colorchip. It works pretty good but will not completey hide the chip marks.

I just used Drcolorchip on my VY. Had two chips close together (one friggen rock ) and one of the chips was relatively DEEP. All the way through the primer and into the fender. It took two applications, and the smaller chip is now 'fixed', the deeper one needs one more application, I think, to make it next to invisible like the smaller on is now. Going to let it have a week to ensure it's thoroughly dry. Very pleased with the way it came out so far and very easy to use.
