As you know, the only difference between the EVO and the Slip On is the EVO has the X Pipe and the Slip on does not. From what I am hearing from Akrapovic, they do not have any plans to change their Corvette X pipe design to work with the 2013's. With the C7 right around the corner, there is just not a large enough potential market to redesign the X pipe for 2 model years. The 2012's and up come with an X Pipe from the factory anyway so the number of customers who would actually pay the extra money for the Akrapovic X-Pipe would be even less.
You can get the Titanium Slip On (Axle Back) and have everything your Ti EVO had just without the Akrapovic X pipe.
I wish I had better news, but wanted to shoot you straight from the start so you are not waiting for something that is most likely never going to come
Thanks,
Jim

Million dollar question.....I think they are kicking the idea around right now. The bigger question is will they offer it for more than just the Z06/ZR1...Would love to see them offer it for all C7's...
I will certainly keep everyone posted as I get more factual information.

I installed the Corsa Sport system with the Corsa X pipe. With the factory system installed and the valves open the highway drone, while bearable, was still there. The Corsa's are great, loud enough, no drone what so ever, and really sound awesome when you put your foot in it.

Keep in mind we have sold a bunch of Akrapovic systems on this forum, and NEVER has anyone accused us of misrepresenting this exhaust on any aspect of it. You would think that if we were "feeding people crap" at least one person would call BS, wouldn't you?
For everyone else, 13-15 hp plus it looks and sounds awesome

What is the story with Akrapovic sales to CA (it's on the West Coast Corvette page that due to some internal audit they cannot sell to CA). Assume that applies to ALL shipments to California though?

What is so silly is that the Akra Corvette line of products does not mess with Emissions components at all and does not even need a CARB certification to sell. Both the Akra EVO (catback) and Slip On (axleback) do not touch or change the cats or O2 sensors in anyway, Everything remains and operates as stock. Just performs and sounds a hell of lot better.
So, net-net....Akrapovic or CA based Akrapovic dealers are not allowed to sell into the state of CA until the Cycle issue is resolved.
We are not located in the State of CA, so are not governed by them

Ordered a set of titanium Evo's with x-pipe and CF tips from Jim yesterday. Great guy, easy transaction. I can't wait to get my ZR out of storage and get this Akra system installed.
