Default New Personal Best 11.18 @ 125.85 Killer Bee and DR's.

Made four passes on DR's with 21 p.s.i. No bolt-ons.
60' 1.692
330 4.761
1/8 7.265
MPH 98.66
1000 9.388
1/4 11.186
MPH 125.85

First pass was the best, the other three were 11.287 @ 125.72(1.754 60'), 11.324 @ 126.29(1.822 60'), and 11.272 @ 125.97(1.749 60").

I can email the slips to someone if they will post them for me. Nothing better the hooking off the line. Like always, I felt I could've done a little better as the weather was cooling off. All passes were done pretty much back to back.

It's an 08 with killer bee, 160 degree stat and bf goodrich 18" DR's. I honestly don't think the air intake is much help, but the stat helps keep the car a little cooler.

Great driving and great 60ft there in the 1.6's!!!!!!! Nice MPH. Curious if you know the track altitude and DA for that area at the time approx. It does make a difference. I ran 11.09 at +40ft DA which was stellar weather. I'm think you may or may not of had such great weather which makes your ET/MPH all the more impressive!!!! Keep up the great work and make us proud!!!!

Altitude at track is 632 above sea level. Not sure how to figure out DA, but I believe the pressure was approximately 30.2-30.4. A guy at the track told me that run would've been in the 10's at sea level. I'm not that knowledgeable about all the perimeters associated with ideal conditions, I just love to run this car. When I had that 1.69 60', I was glued to the seat and I knew I had a record run, as long as I didn't miss a shift.
I might also add that I had the privilege of spending the weekend last year at track attack picking Rangers' brain and he showed me a few critical points in fine tuning my driving.

WOW Pete, outstanding ets and traps for our neck of the woods, with just CAI, thermostat and a tune! Route 66 or Byron, wouldn't think there is no way you good 60 ft that well this early in season at Union Grove?

Great driving man, you will get a 10 second time slip one of these days with a little more seat time and better weather!

Go to Drag Times for your DA calc. They have all the tracks listed as well as the temp, etc.

If the pressure was 30.30, you had a DA of 632-380, or 252

Do you have any Dyno #'s...? Did you happen to see what RPM you were turning at through the traps ?
Nice run's...

He mentions in his initial post BFG Drag Radials but does not set forth the size.

Heck, with the MT Drag Radials he would probably have hooked even better and lowered his 60 foot just enough to squeek into the 10s!

Pete,

Time to get added on to the GO FAST bolt on and tune (CAI) fast list!

I ran last night and my best was 13.0@118mph giving it 1/2 throttle in 1/2 and 3/4 in 3rd. Car was all over the place. WOT in 3rd gear would kick the rear out and go sideways. Outside temp was about 42 degrees. Runflats don't hook up when it is 42 outside. I need some DRs bad. Good job on the runs.

It was at Route 66, which has very good track prep. I'm shocked they didn't give me the boot for being under 11.50. The guy handing the time sheet congratulated me and was telling me he has never seen a new Z run anywhere near that time.
